The PILCH Homeless Persons' Legal Clinic has recently conducted significant research regarding the nature, extent and causes of begging in Melbourne.

This Report launch and discussion will consider the problem of begging in Melbourne's CBD. Informed by the nature, extent and causes of begging and the interests, values and views of people who beg, it will also discuss a range of public and social policy initiatives designed to respond to begging.
